Father: Norwegian, stock-car driver/mechanic for Dan Gurney. Mother: Cuban. Raised in Chicago and Denver. Graduated from Summit High School, Frisco, Colorado, 1976. University of Northern Colorado [Greeley]. University of Colorado, Boulder, 1979. Worked as a record store clerk, DJ [Club 950] and rodeo clown! Joined glam-punk band Special Affect [1979-1980]. Formed Ministry in Chicago in 1981.
