Kurt Mason Peterson
Kurt Mason Peterson is an American actor, and filmmaker. Best known for his work in independent film, and theatrical stage productions.
Kurt was born on June 3, 1988 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. His parents are Monica (Kershner), born Bridgeport (CT), and Mark Peterson, Boston (MA).
The youngest of two children, Kurt enjoyed playing music as a child. He performed in a string of garage rock bands throughout his teens and early twenties, but took no real interest in acting.
After graduating from high school and undecided about his future career he took a few odd factory jobs. His mother suggested that his forceful personality would make him suitable for a career in acting, and Kurt promptly enrolled at the Hartt School of Drama in Hartford, CT.
His first big break came when he made his film debut playing teen party animal Robert Johnson in Nitty Gritty Studio's "Drop Dead Drunk". In 2010 Kurt moved to New York to pursue a stage career, and was quickly cast in RP Patnik's American film debut 'Amy'. This memorable performance led to numerous comedic and dramatic film roles in the years to follow.
