Melissa Brownell
Melissa Brownell a Los Angeles Native and resilient actress, as labeled during a SAG-AFTRA workshop. Melissa excelled in the arts at a young age, joining a choir at the age of nine. Being the only adolescent performing weekly with the choir, Melissa was able to expand her vocal range and stage presence. By the age of eleven, she was self taught both piano and guitar.
As a local artist, Melissa started performing theater throughout high school; which lead her to take a more serious route after graduating. In 2014, Phoenix was cast in a pilot as a receptionist, which unfortunately was not picked up but shortly after was cast as a supporting role in a drama series which lead her to be SAG-AFTRA. The series was later also nominated for two Daytime Emmy's. Some career highlights for herself have been, portraying one of Brooke Shields children on the final season of The Middle. She has also worked with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Hudson on the Netflix Original, Sandy Wexler.
Melissa will continue to be grateful for her time and accomplishments in the industry as she continues to move forward with the ever changing industry. Melissa is a true talent with a bright future ahead.
