Osker D
Osker ZL Dunbar II, better known to his friends and fans as Osker D was born and raised in a small southern town Lake Village, Arkansas. At the tender age of three , Osker was bitten by a phenomenal talent of singing and acting. It was unbelievable to hear young Osker D scat the Blues; however, there was no wonder Osker D could sing because Osker Senior had been in the limelight for years. Osker D was reared in a professional home. His father was a singer, producer and actor, and his mother was an English and a Drama instructor. One evening his mother came home from work to find Osker D sitting on their couch singing the Blues. He was only three years old. As Osker D grew, he began to groom other young boys in the neighborhood to sing in a group with him. Osker D confiscated his mother's library to make a studio for his group. The group called themselves "Artillary." Osker Senior was so impressed by the group that he funded a professional recording of the group's first song, "Double A". Osker D has always been musically inclined, and had an extraordinary talent for acting. He performed in several high school plays, and competitions where he won first place. He was number 1 in the sate for Impromptu speaking, and improvisational acting. After graduating from high school, Osker D entered college at Mississippi Delta College. He majored in music. After he completed his major, he treaded on unfamiliar ground when he moved to Maryland, but It did not take him long to realize that he could land singing jobs in the city. Osker has earned credibility as a singer, rapper, radio/talk show host and an actor. He connected with phenomenal write/director/actor, Silk White, and the rest is becoming history, Osker D is known for the role of Okbar/"The Rackman" in the hit series Til Death Do Us Part.
