Travis Hinson
Travis Hinson is an actor living in Los Angeles. While he had a role in the feature film, XXX: State of the Union; his most notable role to date is playing the jazz icon Miles Davis in the short film, Trane and Miles, directed by Scott Essman. He has worked on two pilots and several student films in leading roles with The Art Institutes of California, Cal-State Long Beach,the University of Southern California, and Chapman University to name a few.
Born in North Carolina with a shotgun in one hand, and a basketball in the other(as all NC kids are!), he put those aside after graduating from Davidson College with a degree in Economics. A brief stint in the banking industry could not quench his artistic thirst. Several years of study with the Film Actors Studio in Charlotte, North Carolina led to the inevitable move to the west coast.
