Travis Land
Travis Land (born Travis Martin Cleland) is an American actor, filmmaker and writer. He grew up in the small town of Manson, Iowa. His original aspirations were to be a heavy metal guitarist. This prompted him to join the Marine Corps the day after his 18th birthday, because it was likely to land him in Southern California. Upon his discharge, Travis began working in graphic arts, eventually becoming a commercial video producer in San Diego.
He began acting late in life, at the age of 41. In 2018, he filmed and edited a mini pilot for a television show, which inspired him to follow through on an idea he'd had for a film several years earlier. The result was "On Deaf Ears," and, Travis was inspired to play the main character Lane Gray. He began taking acting classes in late 2018.
Travis lives in San Diego with his partner, and their crested gecko.
