Mpho Koaho is a series regular on Falling Skies for TNT. Other television credits include the Canadian miniseries Soul, for which he won a Gemini Award in 2009, and a critically acclaimed guest lead performance on the CBS series Flashpoint, for which he was also nominated for a Gemini Award. Koaho began his career when Maya Angelou cast him as the young lead in her film Down in the Delta for Mira...max, and he has continued to work steadily ever since. D.J. Caruso next cast Koaho in The Salton Sea opposite Val Kilmer and he has gone on to co-star in Four Brothers for John Singleton and Paramount, Get Rich or Die Tryin' for Jim Sheridan and Paramount, and Blindness for Fernando Meirelles and Focus Features. Other film credits include: Saw III, Haven and It's A Boy Girl Thing. Koaho resides in Toronto.
Mpho Osei-Tutu was born in Paris to a Mosotho mother and Ghanaian father and has lived in Lesotho, France, England, Togo, Ghana South Africa and the US. He presently works as an actor, voice artist, screenwriter, producer and director. He holds a B.A. (Hons) in Dramatic Art from Wits University, South Africa, where he majored in Performance, Television and Screenwriting. Film acting roles include a principal role in "Colors of Heaven" and supporting roles in "Mandela's Gun", "Catch a Fire" and "Seriously Single" on Netflix. On TV, he has been a guest star on "Resident Evil", "Black Sails", "I Shouldn't be Alive" and The BBC's "The Canterbury Tales". He has won and been nominated for several awards for his acting and writing in South Africa, was a series regular in the 2007 International Emmy Nominated "Home Affairs" and was a screenwriter on "Hopeville" (nominated for an International Emmy Award in 2010). A burgeoning independent filmmaker, Osei-Tutu co-produced the short film "Joburg" (officially selected for several International festivals including Sundance in 2010). Osei-Tutu is also a sought after voice actor whose voice can be heard in several voice-overs, audio books and radio plays. On-stage acting credits included lead roles in Zakes Mda's "The Mother Of All Eating", Pieter-Dirk Uys' "MacBeki", Paul Slabolepsky's "For Your Ears Only", Mike van Graan's "When Swallows Cry" (Switzerland and Germany tours) and Athol Fugard's "The Island" (UK, US and Greece tours). Osei-Tutu served on the board of The South African Guild of Actors (SAGA) from 2012-2014 and was an organizer of the Repertory Amateur Players Society (RAPS) One Act Plays Festival - the longest running and most prestigious high school's drama festival in South Africa.
